摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath/shower valve device having both of foaming and drainage functions. <P>SOLUTION: The shower valve device comprises a valve housing 1 connected between shower hoses, a valve body 3 disposed in the valve housing 1 to be movable for opening/closing the valve seat 2 thereof, a shape-memory alloy spring 4 and a bias spring 5 mounted to the valve body 3 such that they are counterposed to each other, and through holes 6 passing through the valve housing 1 to make the interior of the valve housing 1 communicate with the exterior when the valve seat 2 is left open, characterized in that the sum of the pressure of hot water and spring of the bias spring 5 exceeds the pressure of spring of the shape-memory alloy spring 4 when water flows through the valve at a high temperature, and the pressure of spring of the bias spring 5 exceeds that of spring of the shape-memory alloy spring 4 when water does not flow at a low temperature. As a result, when the warm water flows through the shower hoses, the through holes 6 are left open to draw air into the valve housing 1 therethrough, and when the warm water does not flow through the shower hoses, the through holes 6 are left open to discharge cool water left in the shower hoses to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
