摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing the external cabinet of a power resistor whose manufacturing cost is low and productivity is improved. SOLUTION: After engaging a bushing 13 and a bushing 15 respectively into apertures of both ends of a housing 10 wherein an extruded member which is constituted of aluminium or aluminium alloy and whose section is an almost U-shape is cut into a desired length, the bushing 13 and the bushing 15 are moved outward as far as they abut against a stopper 12, and the apertures of both of the ends of the housing 10 are closed, so that the external cabinet of the power resistor is assembled.
