摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume-changeable FIFO type storage apparatus which is especially designed to have inexpensive and easy equipments. SOLUTION: This volume-changeable FIFO type storage apparatus 4 is equipped with a driving endless conveyer belt 10 which divides a convey branch for conveying articles 6 from an input station 8 to an output station 9 and a return branch extended from the output station 9 to the input station 8, and is controlled with a control unit which is disposed on the downstream side from the output station 9 along the output conveyer 7, releases the prescribed group of the articles 6 from the output conveyer 7, confirms the position of the group of the articles 6 in the storage apparatus 4, and operates a release station 32, when the group of the already confirmed articles 6 passes through the release station 32.
