摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform received sound volume control corresponding to a noise level on the basis of speaker's intended volume even if a user moves up or down a manually adjustable sound volume channel in a speech signal transmitting and receiving apparatus having a transmitter and a receiver. SOLUTION: A noise level detection circuit 5 detects a voice sound level entering a transmitting microphone 1 as a noise level when there is no speech input at a transmitter, and a microcomputer 6 stores a correspondence relationship between a noise level that is detected just before a user manually adjusts a speech volume, and the received sound level, and controls received sound volume responsive to the noise level detected by the noise level detection circuit 5 and the correspondence relationship between the stored noise level and the received sound level.
