摘要：PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting a subsidiary screen into a main screen and a method thereof are provided to convert the subsidiary into the main screen when a SYNC(SYNChronization) signal of the main screen disappears during the viewing of screens simultaneously, thereby continuously viewing the converted subsidiary screen. CONSTITUTION: A video interface member(201) outputs the first and second video signals under the control of a control member(205-3). A scaling member(203) converts the inputted video signals into signals with a proper resolution corresponding to the specification of a display member(204). When a user selects a signal for displaying simultaneously screens, the scaling member performs the scaling of the first and second video signals in order to be displayed simultaneously screens under the control of the control member. Also, the scaling member performs the scaling of a subsidiary screen into a main screen according to a command of the control member.
