摘要：Disclosed is an in vitro method of treating blood, which has been obtained from a patient with an inflammatory bowel disorder, the method comprising: (a) administering to the blood a psolaren or psolaren derivative, and (b) treating at least a portion of the blood from step (a) with light at a wavelength that activates the psoralen or psoralen derivative. Also disclosed is the use of a psoralen or psoralen derivative in the manufacture of a medicament for use in treating inflammatory bowel disorders and inflammatory disorders of the urinary bladder.
