摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and reduce thickness of a spindle motor, and to reduce the power consumption by excellently maintaining a right angle between a radial bearing part and a thrust bearing part. SOLUTION: This spindle motor is provided with a dynamic pressure bearing having the full-fill structure that the whole of a bearing clearance is filled with the oil. A bearing member 4 for rotatably supporting a rotor is formed of a sleeve 8, a plate-like member 32 fixed to an upper peripheral surface of the sleeve 8, and a nearly cup-like bearing housing 6 for holding the sleeve 8 and the plate-like member 32.
