摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a dry preform for composite materials having an arbitrary shape. SOLUTION: The dry preform for structural materials is produced by opposing pin-implanting members 12 having a number of pins 14 to pin-implanting members 11 having a number of pins 13 with the sides of opposite ends 11a and 12a, in which pins 13 and 14 are implanted, opposed at prescribed intervals, arranging upper connecting members 15 and 16 and lower connecting members 17 and 18 on these pin-implanting members 11 and pin-implanting members 12 to be integrated with with nuts 22 and 23, linearizing a center line in the longitudinal direction of a production apparatus 10 in which the assembly is arranged on stepped parts 19b at both ends of interval-retaining members 19 to form a primary preform having nearly trapezoidal shape in which thickness and/or width is continuously changed, curving the production apparatus without fixing reinforcing fibers to each other to form a secondary preform having curved shape and integrating the primary preform with the secondary preform.
