摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desired resistance value, to enable sufficient application of electrostatic charges to toner for a long term, to prevent scattered toner, soiled base, and streaklike soil, to improve the reproducibility of a thin line and halftone even in a small development device, to obtain a satisfactory image free of development of carrier on a photoreceptor, and to reduce spent carrier even when developoer is used for a long time, and to hold stable electrostatic charges. SOLUTION: In electrophotographic developer carrier, a cover layer containing a silicone resin and conductive powder as its main constituents is formed on the surface of a carrier host particle.
