摘要：FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to manufacture of electrodes for condensers- accumulators containing activated carbon and possessing high capacity based on double electric layer effect. Method of invention comprises preliminary impregnation of birch wood carbonizate with 3-5% orthophosphoric acid at raw material-to-acid solution weight ratio (3-5):1. Impregnated material is dried, subjected to carbonization under inert atmosphere at temperature raised (steadily or stepwise) to 700-850 C with velocity 30-50 C/h and then to gas-vapor activation to attain summary pore volume 0.9-1.5 cu.cm/g followed by treatment with 1.0-10% alkali and then with 0.2-10% nitric acid solutions, after which product is washed and dried.
