摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory allocation method that can decide an allocation to each customer in dependence on self-profiting force when the sum of amounts ordered from a plurality of customers exceeds inventory. <P>SOLUTION: A server device 10 is connected to a plurality of terminal devices 20 via the Internet N. An HDD 16 of the server device 10 stores an allocation program 6 and a patron master database 5. The allocation program 6, when executed, starts allocation processing. In the allocation processing, if inventory exceeds a total amount ordered, each customer is allocated an amount as ordered; if there is a shortfall, an inventory allocation processing subroutine is executed. In the subroutine, orderers are allocated, in descending order of patronage percentage, an amount as the product of the amount ordered by the patronage percentage, or an amount equal to the amount ordered, from the inventory, and if there is still inventory left, orderers are allocated, in descending order of patronage priority, for the shortfall in the amount ordered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
