摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member and a reinforcing construction method for a building using the reinforcing member for reinforcing a wooden building such as a wooden house to permit the construction of the wooden building without a possibility of collapse even at the occurrence of a big earthquake. SOLUTION: This reinforcing member for the wooden building is provided with a mounting base part 20 mounted to the intersecting part of a through column 42 and a beam 12 of the wooden building; a plurality of strength members 50 fixed on one end side to the mounting base part 20; and connectors 60 mounted to the appropriate part of skeleton structure 14 of the wooden building to connect the other end side of the strength members 50 thereto.
