摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl removing device provided with a structure capable of simultaneously cooling a sheet and correcting the curl without increasing the size or the cost of the device. SOLUTION: This curl removing device for a sheet is provided with: a carrying roller 18C disposed in a carrying passage for a sheet; and a plurality of backup rollers 18A and 18B disposed side by side in the circumferential direction of the carrying roller and capable of gearing with each other while coming into press contact with the carrying roller 18C. The device can carry the sheet in a form following the circumferential surface of the carrying roller 18C. The backup rollers 18A and 18B are so disposed that their disposing interval along the circumferential direction of the carrying roller 18C can be changed, and the device is characterized in that the disposing interval can be set according to the amount of emergence of the curl of the sheet.
