摘要：<p>The present invention discloses a method for realizing signaling link redundancy backup in IP network. Establishing two application server processes (ASP) serving for the same application server (AS) in the master of one side of IP network. All the users' adapting protocol shares application server status maintaining information (ASPSM) and application server traffic maintaining information (ASPTM), by using two application server, the processes status enter into activate status and de-activate status separately, thus realizing two signal links for the same traffic service. When the switch occurs, the 'silent close' SCTP connect is adopted. SCTP will ensure the all the data remained in its buffer to be sent, and the application will send latter data in sequence after it is noticed that all the remain data have been sent, thus ensures sequent transmission of data. Such method can not only ensure non-missing and out-sequence of data, but also the speed of switch, for the standby link can be noticed after all the data was sent.</p>
