摘要：A novel promoter DNA located upstream of the known promoter domain of DC36/FAT gene.This promoter DNA is usable either alone or as a dual promoter together with the downstream promoter.Transcription from the upstream promoter of this dual promoter can be expressed and induced by a peroxisome proliferator activated receptor activator.As the results of analysis on genomic DNA of a patient with CD36 deficiency,further mutations are observed in the above−described upstream domain and the 12th exon in the CD36/FAT gene.
