摘要：The detector contains at least one pair of electrodes (12, 13) which are applied to the wood in a nondestructive manner and are used to pass an electric current (I) through the layers (2-4) inside the wood. Voltages caused by the current and the conductance of the wood layers are recorded using at least one pair of measurement electrodes (14-15). A processor supplied with information from the measurement electrodes is used to indicate the presence of anomalies, etc., based on differences in electrical conductance in one or more of the layers.
