摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head speed measuring system wherein the installation space is comparatively small, even the outdoor installation is easy, and an accurate measurement for which the rotating factor of a club head at the center of the shaft axis is added is possible. SOLUTION: This head speed measuring system is equipped with a first optical sensor 1 and a second optical sensor 2 which are arranged in such a manner that the optical axes 11 and 12 may be located approximately parallel with each other. By the first optical sensor 1 and the second optical sensor 2, the passing of the club head 6 right before an impact point on the swing track is detected. Then, the head speed is computed based on a difference in the passing time, and a distance between both optical axes in the swing direction, by this head speed measuring system. In this case, the optical axes 11 and 12 of the first optical sensor 1 and the second optical sensor 2 tilt in the opening direction with the swing direction and the vertical direction as references.
