摘要：PURPOSE: A method of transceiving a forward packet in a wireless communication system is provided to transmit a forward link packet by inserting an error check bit by sub packet, thereby preventing unnecessary resource consumption caused by retransmission of the forward link with an error. The method is provided to measure strength of a receiving signal, to request retransmission only when the strength is over a threshold value, thereby increasing reliability. CONSTITUTION: When an access terminal receives a forward link frame(502), a wireless communication system measures a strength of a receiving signal(503), and compares the measured value with a threshold value(504). If the strength is smaller than the threshold value, the system decodes a received frame(505), and checks a frame check sequence(506). If an error is generated, the system transmits a 'NAK' signal to the access terminal for a retransmission(507,501). If the error is not generated, the system transmits an 'ACK' signal to inform the access terminal of a successful transmission of the frame(508). If the strength is bigger than the threshold value, the system decodes a receiving frame(510), and checks a frame check sequence(511). If an error is generated, the system checks a packet error check bit by a sub packet(512), and stores sub packets without an error, then generates an information bit of sub packets with an error to request a retransmission(513,501).
