摘要：The wheel (1), light in weight and of a thermoplastic material, is made by assembling two half-tores (2) on either side of its plane of symmetry. Prior to assembly a portion of tire tread (4) is over moulded onto each half-tore, and the two halves are then joined together. Prior to assembly a portion of tire tread (4) is over moulded onto each half-tore, and the two halves are then joined together, e.g. by ultrasound, vibration or mirror welding, preferably with an impermeable seal, forming a flexible air chamber. The overmoulded tread is fastened to the air chamber by anchoring elements such as perforations in the air chamber that are penetrated by the moulding material, and the air chamber is inflated by a gas generating powder introduced before assembly and producing gas as it breaks down, generally as a result of a rise in temperature.
