摘要：<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary magnetic head device having high durability and capable of recording and/or reproducing a signal stably for a long period, and a magnetic recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: The rotary magnetic head device is provided with a fixed drum, a rotary drum rotatable with respect to the fixed drum, and a magnetic head loaded with its outer side facing the outer peripheral edge of the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum on the fixed drum side, and designed to perform recording and/or reproducing on a tape magnetic recording medium. In the vicinity of an intersection between the outer peripheral part of the rotary drum side on the outer peripheral surface of the fixed drum, i.e., the boundary line of the fixed and rotary drums, and one end of the rotary drum side in the width direction of the tape magnetic recording medium, a projection is provided to move the tape magnetic recording medium away from the fixed drum.</p>
