摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable of which the jacket can be easily and completely torn off without damaging an optical fiber inside. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable 1 consists of at least one optical fiber (which is inside a coated optical fiber 2) and a jacket 4 which is composed of a minimum of one layer protecting the optical fiber from surroundings. The optical fiber cable is characterized by the jacket 4 in which at least one high- tensile wire 5 is buried inside along the longitudinal direction and in which the thickness T of the jacket in the part inward from the high-tensile wire 5 is not more than 0.5 mm.
