摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impairment of the beauty around the parts to be mounted by making displays visible as if the displays do not exist during non- use by providing necessary visual information by the displays during use. SOLUTION: The fronts of the on-vehicle display device having the displays 11, 12 and 13 which are fitted to a woodgrain-tone panel 2a of an instrument panel 2 of a vehicle and emit display light during lighting are covered with a screen 20 of woodgrain-tone patterns having many micropores allowing the transmission of the display light. As a result, image planes are visible through the micropores of the screens during lighting of the displays but during the non-lighting of the displays, the woodgrain-tone screen 20 conceals the displays and therefore the entire part including the segments fitted with the displays is integrated to the woodgrain tone.
