摘要：PURPOSE: A system and method for providing medical information using a network is provided to manage medical information of patients instead of a medical treatment service provider by storing a medical examination record of a patient in one patient managing database capable of being searched and updated by the medical treatment service provider and the patient without an additional emulator. CONSTITUTION: A server is connected with a terminal(100) of a medical treatment service provider and a network(200). A member managing unit(380) processes a joining and a certification of members. A data converting unit(361) converts data of members and patients into a form capable of being stored in a database. A data classifying unit(362) classifies data according to kinds thereof. A data searching unit(370) decides whether desired data are existed in a database and extracts the data. A connecting unit(310) connects the network(200) to the server. An interface(320) moves data between the connecting unit(310) and an operating system. The terminal(100) includes an input unit(150), an output unit(160), a connecting unit(170), an interface unit(140), and an operating system(120). The terminal(100) may include an internet protocol(130) and a web browser(110). A database(410) for managing the member stores information of the members. A database(420) for managing the patient stores information of patients.
