Said device comprises a housing (1), a drive body (2) that is rotatably mounted in the housing (1) and is operated in a rotational manner and a spindle sleeve (3) as a tool insert. The spindle sleeve (3) is mounted in the drive body (2) in a fixed manner and is positioned in such way that it can be displaced axially in a substantially frictionless manner between stops. Said spindle sleeve effects axial movements that can be controlled pneumatically or by an electromagnetic field.
