摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a coil defrosting cycle during a heating mode of a reversible heat pump. SOLUTION: The defrosting cycle of the coil 28 of the reversible heat pump 10 is controlled by a control algorithm for monitoring a plurality of values indicating a performance of a clean or non-frosting coil and changing as a time is elapsed by storing the values. A 'frosting rate' changing by the values from 0% indicating the non-frosting coil to 100% indicating a much frosted coil is obtained by using these values. When the rate a predetermined value near the 100%, a refrigerating cycle of the heat pump 10 is inverted (reversed) to realize the defrosting of the coil 28.
