摘要:PURPOSE: A multi-domain liquid crystal display(LCD) device is provided to reduce a response time of a liquid crystal layer and to improve the brightness of the LCD and to improve a visible angle. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises the first and the second substrate, and a plurality of data lines(3) and gate lines dividing the first substrate into a plurality of pixel regions. A common subsidiary electrode(15) is formed around and/or in the pixel region on the same layer as the gate line. A thin film transistor is formed on each pixel region on the first substrate and comprises a gate electrode(11), a gate insulation film, a semiconductor layer(5), an ohmic contact layer and a source/drain electrode(7,9). A protection film is formed over the whole first substrate, and a pixel electrode(13) is connected with the drain electrode on the protection film.
