摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inactivate the filtered off pathogenic organism. SOLUTION: The pathogenic organism such as Cryptosporidium oocysts is removed by the filter body 22a of a filter 22. The treated water is circulated to the raw water side before backwashing through a circulating line 46, and the circulating water is heated by a heat exchanger 44. Consequently, the filter body 22a is heated to a specified high temperature without discharging the water outside the system, and the collected pathogenic organism is inactivated. Accordingly, the pathogenic bacteria which have not been inactivated are prevented from being contained in the waste backwashing water generated in the succeeding backwashing.
