摘要：The invention concerns a device for detecting X-rays or gamma rays and a method for making such a device. The device comprises at least an element (4) which is a semiconductor based ceramic of the II-VI type containing CdTe. The method for making said device consists in using a semiconductor powder and subjecting said powder to a ceramic-type treatment comprising a step which consists in compressing the powder to obtain a compact material.
