摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a laser output adjusting device to stably maintain the output level of a variable attenuator unit by automatically correcting the output drop caused by the deterioration of the excitation lamp of a laser oscillator, and so on. SOLUTION: In a laser output adjusting device, in which a variable attenuator unit 7 constituted by combining a rotary variable attenuator 8 with a rotary compensator 9, is arranged on the light-emitting optical path of a laser oscillator so as to attenuate the laser output of the oscillator to a required low level via the unit 7, a laser detector 13 which detects the reflected light from the surface of the attenuator 8, a computing element 4, and a comparator 15 which compares the output signal of the element 4 with the set signal of a laser output setter 12 using the output signal of the element 4 as a feeding-back amount are provided as a means for detecting the attenuated laser light transmitting through the attenuator 8. The adjusting device controls the level of the laser output to a constant value according to the set value, by correcting the rotational angles of the attenuator 8 and compensator 9 via a rotary device driver 10 by using the error signal of the comparator 15 as a controlled variable.
