摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and reduce the size and the weight of an engine itself by a method wherein blowby gas is picked up and rotation of an engine is picked out by a side cover arranged at the side of a cylinder. SOLUTION: A driven sprocket 33 arranged on a cam shaft 16 is arranged in a cam chain chamber 32 consisting of a side cover 30 arranged at the side of a cylinder, and a cam chain 37 is caused to span the driven sprocket and the cam shaft 16 is rotated by a power of a crank shaft. In a so formed vehicle engine, a rotary shaft 60 rotated on a spot coaxial with the cam shaft 16 in interlocking, and a rotation take out shaft 61 to take out rotation to an external part through rotation in interlocking with the rotary shaft 60 are pivotally supported on a side cover 30. A gear chamber 43 provided at an upper part with a communication passage with a cam chain chamber 32 and at a lower part with an oil feed passage to a rotary shaft 60 and a breather chamber 44 partitioned from a gear chamber 43 below the gear chamber and a breather chamber 44 having a communication passage with a cam chain chamber 32 independent and different from the gear chamber 43 are formed above the rotary shaft and in the side cover 30.
