摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dropping accident of a work in its reversing motion by providing a restriction member for restricting the movement of the work in the direction perpendicular to the facing direction of both holding members, on at least one of a mount side holding member and a facing side holding member supported by means of a reversing device body reversible by a reverse driving means. SOLUTION: In a spindle movement-type vertical machine tool, a work having a worked lower end surface side is conveyed to a reversing device to be reversed, and set on a machine tool again for the working of its upper end surface side. The reversing device has a mount side holding member 81 and a facing side holding member 84 movably supported in the contacting and separating direction, on a reversing device body 77 reversable by a rotary actuator 76. The work is placed on the mount side holding member 81, and rotated about a horizontal axis by 180 degree in a state of held from the upper and lower directions by both holding members 81, 84. On this occasion, the facing side holding member 84 is provided with about three movable restriction members 842 for restricting the movement of the work in the direction perpendicular to the holding direction.
