摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atypical connector connection system for IEEE1394 where a required number of cables can be reduced. SOLUTION: A plurality of connectors 1, 2 connect with one end of an IEEE1394 cable, a form of a plurality of the connectors is detected and a branch selection section 3 is provided to select a data signal section 4 or a power supply section 5 required for each connector and to connect with the selected section. In the case of detecting a form of a plurality of the connectors 1, 2, the branch selection section 3 detects the form depending on whether or not a voltage is applied to the power supply section 5, and connects the connector when it is required for the power supply section 5, and disconnects it from the power supply section 5 when the power supply section 5 does not need the connector.
