摘要：PURPOSE: A forming method of a cross recess and a cap fitting part is provided to reduce the number of forming processes of a screw covered with a cap by simultaneously forming a cross recess and a cap fitting hole via single stroke punching. CONSTITUTION: A cross recess(11a) and a cap fitting hole(11b) are formed simultaneously by pressurizing a punch having a cross recess forming part integrated with a punching part upon a head(11) of a material(1). Thus, a cross recess and a cap fitting hole are formed by single stroke punching and a forming procedure is shortened. As the cap fitting hole is formed by punching instead of machining, diameter of the cap fitting hole is kept uniform all the time. Moreover, production of cut chips is avoided.
