摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive thermal efficiency improvement during snow melting by providing a snow casting tank, an intermediate tank and a snow melting tank in a prescribed state. SOLUTION: During snow melting, after snow is cast into the snow casting tank 12 of a snow melting apparatus 10, a snow collecting device 14 is driven to collect the snow in the center part of the tank 12, fed into a tank 22 from an opening part downward of a partition plate provided on a side facing the intermediate tank 22 of the tank 12, and snow lumps are crushed on the saw blade part of the lower edge of a partition plate. Next, the snow of the tank 22 is fed to a snow melting tank 40 through a duct 24 by a carrying blade 30, the snow fed into the upper space 44 of the tank 40 is easy to be crushed and melted by a crushing device 60, and melted on an inner wall 40b and a partition wall 40e heated by the hot blast of a burner 50. Next, melted water is flowed in the tank 22 from the opening 24a of the duct 24, and permeates into the snow of the tank 22 to be easy to melt. Furthermore, the snow of the tank 12 is melted by hot blast fed into the tank 12 from a pipe 70 to some extent, and hot blast is fed from a penetration hole formed in the partition wall to the inside of the tank 22 to make snow of the tank 22 more easy to melt. Thereby heat can be efficiently utilized.
