摘要：<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stainproofing agent free from the defects of a known one and having excellent stainproofing performances in spite of being free of any biocide by mixing a specified polyfunctional carbosilane and/or a specified polyfunctional carbosiloxane with, optionally, an alkoxysilane, an organic solvent and/or water, a catalyst, inorganic nanoparticles, and other additives. SOLUTION: This agent essentially consists of at least one member selected among a polyfunctional carbosilane or carbosiloxane of the formula: R[(CH2)mSiRn1X(3-n)]p and partial condensates thereof. In the formula, R1 is a 1-8C alkyl or the like; X is OH, a 1-4C alkoxyl, or the like; (n) is 0-2; (m) is 2-6; (p) is an integer of 2 or greater; and Q is a linear or cyclic silane or siloxane, or a (substituted) hydrocarbon group. The alkoxysilane is particularly desirably tetraethoxysilane. The catalyst which can be desirably used is an acid, especially, p-toluenesulfonic acid. The inorganic nanoparticles are desirably silica sol particles having a means particle diameter of 5-100 nm and dispersed in an organic solvent.</p>
