摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separation method and its device to continuously and efficiently separate and remove a substance to be removed contained in raw water, while the circulation of circulating water, discharge of waste water and discharge of treated water are continuously performed. SOLUTION: In the magnetic separation device, by which the raw water is passed through a filtering substance imparted magnetic fields in a magnetic separation tank 1 and the substance to be separated contained in the raw water is adsorbed on the filtering substance to separate it, a large number of porous balls 3 having ferromagnetic filter media in the inside and formed spherically, are arranged in a magnetic space 10 in the tank 1 so as to float freely, and the raw water is allowed to flow in the magnetic separation tank 1 and while the substance to be separated is adsorbed on the filter media in the porous balls 3, the porous balls 3 are taken out into a washing tank 16 outside the tank 1, being washed in the washing tank 16, then the porous balls are again returned to the inside of the magnetic separation tank 1 in which the raw water flows.
