摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly enhance the interest of a game machine having a display device which can display a plurality of symbols and which performs the fluctuating display of the symbols. SOLUTION: A first kind starting hole 3 and a large winning hole 4 are provided in the game board 2 of a pachinko machine 1, and a display device 13 having a display part 13a is assembled in the center of the game board 2. A plurality of symbol strings are displayed on the display part 13a and each comprise plural kinds of main symbols. A controller 24 gains the number of times that symbols change in an on-standby condition, and causes the display device 13 to perform the fluctuating display of the main symbols in accordance with the number of times and independently of the entrance of a game ball 5 into the first kind starting hole 3. Therefore, even if the first kind starting hole 3 has accepted only one game ball 5, the fluctuating display of the symbols may be performed twice or more.
