摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject azeotropic composition or azeotrope-like composition having minimum influence on global environment, having high performance and useful as alternatives for chlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons by including a specific hydrofluoroether and cyclopentane. SOLUTION: This azeotropic composition or azeotrope-like composition includes (A) preferably 68-82 wt.%, further preferably 72.89 wt.% hydrofluoroether of the formula CF3CF2CH2OCHF2 and (B) preferably 32-18 wt.%, further preferably 27.11 wt.% cyclopentane. The component A is obtained by reacting, e.g. a compound of the formula C2F5CH2OH with potassium hydroxide and a compound of the formula CHClF2. The composition is useful as a flux cleaning agent, a cleaning solvent, a defatted cleaning agent, etc.
