摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexer-demultiplexer having excellent thermal stability by containing a front refractive index blade transparent in a wave- length region, making one surface of its surfaces parallel to a network plane and reducing the change in the optical refractive index of the blade due to temp. SOLUTION: The network 1 carried by a support body 2 having the coefficient of expansion (ε) receives an input light beam 21 from an input slot 22 generating parallel light 24 placed on a focus of an optical system 20. Further, the network 1 returns a parallel beam 25 sent by the optical system 26 by selecting the specified wavelength related to an itself plane position by dispersion. The front blade 3 consists of the surface 31 parallel to the plane of the network 1 and a second surface 32 vertical to a system axis and simultaneously nearly vertical to an incident beam 24 and a reflected beam 25 also. Then, the change in the optical refractive index n1 of the blade 3 due to the temp., that is,ε+1/n1×dn1 /dt is reduced.
