摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the straight line detection method and device which can decide the direction and position of a straight line with hither accuracy on an integratedρθplane than an original smallρθplane. SOLUTION: In this method, an input image is divided into small areas, and the local image of each small area is converted into the image of a localρθplane that is shown in a positionρand a directionθof a linear component. Then the localρθplanes are turned into an integratedρθplane, and a peak is detected out of the integratedρθplane to detect a straight line. When plural localρθplanes are turned into an integratedρθplane, an interval smaller than that of the original data is set for the integratedρθplane data number about the directionθ. Then theρθvalue is calculated for each data and an integration process is performed to increase the number of data, and a coordinate position showing the peak value is extracted from the integratedρθplane.
