摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel excellent in collision energy absorbability in which collision absorbed energy is >=12 kgf/mm<2> by specifying the ferrite fraction and specifying the hardness of ferrite. SOLUTION: The fractional rate of ferrite F is regulated to >=80%, and the hardness of ferrite H satisfies the relational inequality of H>=400-2.6×F. The components in the steel sheet are composed of, by weight, 0.04 to 0.15% C, 0.1 to 0.5% Si, 0.5 to 1.8% Mn, <=0.01% Ti, <=0.06% Al and 0.01 to 0.03% Nb, in which carbon equivalent Ceq (=C+Si/24+Mn/6+Ni/40+Cr/5+Mo/4+V /14)(%) is regulated to <=0.4%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. This steel is heated to >=1100 deg.C and is subjected to hot rolling, and the rolling is finished at >=800 deg.C. In this way, effects can be given from the viewpoints of environmental protection and safety such as marine contamination caused by the outflow of oil in the case of the collision accident of a tanker.
