摘要：PURPOSE:To improve the control of the temperature in the direction of the width of a roll by a method wherein heating wire is arranged on the inner surface or outer surface of a cylindrical heating roll and temperature sensors are provided so as to be brought into contact with the inner surface or outer surface of the heating roll and connected to a temperature controller in order to control the heating temperature of the heating roll. CONSTITUTION:Temperature sensors 2 to measure the temperature of a heating roll are provided at necessary positions on the inside of the heating roll 1. Very thin glass cloth 7 is wound on an inner tube 3. In addition, heating wire 4 is wound on the glass cloth along grooves 5. The heating wire 4 is preferably covered with highly thermally conductive electrical insulating material. Through a shaft axis 8, lead wires 9 connecting with the temperature sensors 2 are led to temperature sensor terminal rings 10 and then, through brushes 11, to a temperature controller 12 in order to control the heating temperature of the heating roll 1. Further, lead wires 13 connecting with the heating wire 4 are led to heating wire terminal rings 14 and then, through brushes 15, to a power source. Accordingly, the heating wire is arranged very densely on the metallic heating roll surface and light in weight, resulting in allowing to sharply perform the control of the temperature of the cylinder of the heating roll and in its width direction.
