摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for denitrating NO2 without deterioration of denitration performance even when the molar ratio of the NOx component contained in a gas to be treated is NO2 >NO. SOLUTION: In this method for denitrating NO2 by which NO2 contained in a gas to be treated is decomposed by selective catalytic reduction using NH3 as a reducing agent, a substance which chemically reacts with a surplus oxygen above a catalytic activity point and is oxidized at 300 deg.C or below as an reducing assistant. Preferably ammonia water or urea water is used as an NH3 supply source, and at the same time, the reducing assistant is dissolved in an aqueous solution and this solution is used together with NH3 . The reducing assistant should preferably be a hydrocarbon or alcohol.
