摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively obtain a tetrahydrofuran derivative having a specified configuration. SOLUTION: Halomethyl silyl ethers of formula I (R<1> is an alkyl, an aralkyl or an aryl; R<2> is H, an alkyl, an aryl, a trialkylsilyl or a halogen; X is a halogen) is reacted with allenes of formula II (R<3> -R<6> are each H, an alkyl, an aralkyl, an alkoxyl or an aralkyloxy) in the presence of a lanthanoid metal or a lanthanoid compound [e.g. samarium metal or a samarium (II) compound] in a solvent (e.g. THF) at -90 to 50 deg.C to provide a tetrahydrofuran derivative of fromula III. The configuration of the substituents of R<1> in the 2-position and R<1> in the 5-position is in a trans position. The amount of the compound of formula H used in the reaction is 0.05-5 molar times that of the compound of formula I and the amount of the lanthanoid metal or the lanthanoid compound is 0.05-5mol times that of the compound of formula I.
