摘要:Quick cooking pasta twists comprise one or more strips of pasta (1) helically attached to a central tube (2). The thickness of the outer strips is 0.3-1.1 mm and they are twisted to such a degree that their density is 0.2-0.7 g/cm<3>, based on the cylindrical space occupied by the pasta. The thickness of pasta used to make the central tube is pref. 0.3-0.7 mm and that of the outer strip is 0.6-1.1 mm, with the strip thickness being 1.2-2.0 times that of the tube. The diameter of the central tube is 0.5-1.3 mm, and the density of the pasta is 0.4-0.6 g/cm<3>.
