To assist assembling or dismantling of the joint pressure liquid is supplied to circumferential grooves in the inner surface of member 34 through radial passages 43 in the members 34, 35, sealing tubes (11) being provided at the junctions of the members. Additionally a pressure supply chamber 42 between members 33 and 35 may also be provided at one or both ends of the coupling.
