摘要：PURPOSE: To switch over cooling and heating automatically in an existing air- conditioner by a system wherein an operation stop signal is transmitted to a controller when an indoor temperature is outside a prescribed temperature range, a power supply is interrupted and made again after the transmission of this signal and also an operation signal is transmitted to the controller. CONSTITUTION: A control device 3 transmits an operation stop signal to controllers 5A and 6A of indoor machines 5 and 6 when a room temperature comes to be outside a prescribed temperature range (19-27 deg.C), and then it stops a power supply. It makes the power supply again 10 seconds later, and after 30 seconds from this start of the power supply, it transmits an operation signal to the controller 5A. Moreover, the operation signal is transmitted from the control device 3 to the controller 6A, too, 30 seconds later. The control device 3 is so designed that it can detect the temperature by means of a temperature detector 35 fitted to an inlet of the indoor machine 5. According to this constitution, an existing air-conditioner can be used and an operation mode can be switched over automatically in accordance with the room temperature.
