摘要:PURPOSE: To provide a scanner capable of stable scanning with a light beam, even if the scanner is a compact low-speed-rotation scanner which can be suitably used for a road traffic communication system, etc. CONSTITUTION: The surface of the rotor of a three-phase synchronous motor is used. The stator shaft 1 of a motor is fixedly supported by a supporting frame 10 together with a motor stator 6. Mirror finished surfaces 4 are formed on the surface of a polygon mirror main body 2 integrated to a motor rotor (hysteresis ring) 5. Motor rotor 5 and a stator core 6 are constituted so that their lengths in an axial direction are about two times as large as their radii. The scanner motor of the constitution is rotated at a low speed (about 250rpm), to execute forward scanning with light from a light emitting element.
