摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To provide a production method of a color filter by which a multicolored fine pattern of high accuracy can be formed without any limit of thickness of a black matrix. CONSTITUTION:In this production method, (1) a process to laminate a colored photosensitive resin layer on a transparent substrate 2, (2) a process to expose to form a specified pattern, and (3) a process to develop are repeated. The procedure for the first color is carried out to form a black matrix 1. The film thickness of the black matrix is not more than the film thickness of pixels of three primary colors (red 3, green 6, and blue 7). The black matrix is laminated to the substrate to form spaces among the pixels so that colored photosensitive resin layers of the second and succeeding colors can be formed in contact with the substrate. In the procedure for the second color, the base film of the photosensitive resin layer of the second color is peeled after the process (2) and then the resin layer is heated to be transferred to the spaces in the black pixels. As for the procedure for the third or succeeding colors, the resin layer of the third or succeeding colors is heated to be transferred to the space in the black pixels between the processes (1) and (3).</p>
