摘要：The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for direct fluorination of hydrocarbons (having 1 to 4 carbons) by using molecular fluorine gas in a liquid medium. The number of reactors or reaction steps is a function of the number of hydrogen atoms in the hydrocarbon to be replaced by molecular fluorine to produce a refrigerant or other product.
